Tired of staring at that blank screen, trying to come up with a topic? You’ve got better things to do, right?
I have 3 rules for writing a blog:
- It must be of interest to your audience
- It must be easy to skim
- It must be delivered consistently
I will make sure that your blog always meets these rules and positions you as the go-to expert in your field. With each post, your readers will look to you as someone they can trust. So when they need a solution to their problem, they will turn to you.
Is there anything more frustrating than writing killer copy for your website, only to discover that your site shows up on page 10 of a Google search?
You have to make it easy for search engines to find you. Which means, you must:
- Research keywords - find your niche!
- Sprinkle those keywords throughout your site
- Still make it sound like a normal human being is writing it
I will take the time to get to know you and your industry. I’ll study your competition and research the keywords for you. Then I will seamlessly work those keywords into your website copy so you will get a better ranking and your target market can easily find you.
On any given day, you will see around 5,000 ads. Yes, in just one day, that’s the number of ads an average American is exposed to. Really. I’m not kidding.
That’s the clutter that your promotional materials need to break through.
Your headline (or subject line) is the key. If the headline doesn’t resonate with your audience, then it doesn’t matter how awesome the rest of the copy is afterwards - they’ll never see it.
Benefits, benefits, benefits. The focus of any brochure, sales flyer, landing page, email, or direct mail piece is “What’s in it for them?” Features are nice, but benefits sell.
Speechwriting can cause a serious case of writer’s block for most people. It’s enough to be worried about delivering the speech, why go through the added agony of writing it?
I prepare speeches that will grab your audience’s attention right from the start. I have extensive experience in writing speeches that will:
- Have a hook to draw your audience in
- Use stories and a sprinkling of humor so your audience will connect with you
- Be well organized and informative
I will sit down with you and go over the purpose of the speech (what do you want your audience to walk away with), who you are delivering the speech to, and stories that are relevant to your topic. I will weave those elements together and create a speech that your audience will remember.
You worked hard to get those new clients. Now, you need to hang onto them. Newsletters are a great way to keep your brand on their mind.
Newsletters are similar to a blog - they are delivered consistently and should include information that is of interest to your clients.
The big difference from a blog is that newsletters are targeted towards your existing customers. It is an opportunity to announce new products or services that may be of interest to them, events, tips, and customer experiences with your product.
I write newsletters that will keep that excitement for your brand going and have your current clients coming back for more.
